hi@wpista.comFrequently Asked Questions
Jupiter is a personal photo album client for iOS. It connects to your self-hosted photo management server, allowing you to browse, view, and interact with your photos privately.
Jupiter is designed to work with a compatible self-hosted API server. You configure the server URL yourself in the app settings. Jupiter does not provide a hosted service — your photos stay on infrastructure you control.
Try the following steps:
1. Verify your server URL is correct and accessible from your device's network.
2. Check that your API credentials (if required) are entered correctly.
3. Ensure your server is running and responding to requests.
4. If you're on a VPN or restricted network, confirm that your server is reachable.
If the issue persists, contact us at hi@wpista.com.
EXIF information (camera model, aperture, ISO, etc.) is read from your server's API response. If the metadata panel shows no information, it means your server did not return EXIF fields for that photo. Check that your server extracts and exposes EXIF data in its API.
No. Jupiter is a read-only client. It only fetches photos from your configured server and displays them on your device. No photos or data are uploaded to us or any third party.
Please email hi@wpista.com with a description of the issue, the steps to reproduce it, and your iOS version. Screenshots or screen recordings are very helpful.
Jupiter stores only your server URL and credentials locally on your device. To remove all local data, delete the app from your device. Your photos and server data are not affected — those are managed entirely by your own server.
